Job Description

Our client, an established and successful water treatment/hygiene provider renowned for their provision of professional services to a diverse client base, is currently recruiting an experienced Water Treatment Service Engineer in and around the London area. The successful postholder will come from a strong water treatment background and be experienced in carrying out duties such as closed‑system analysis, working on cooling towers and steam boilers. Applications from Croydon, Ilford, Watford, Twickenham and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Strong educational and chemical background.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Extensive experience working in this role within the water treatment industry.
• Good IT skills – including competency using MS Office.

Key Duties

• Installation & maintenance of water softeners.
• Carry out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold water systems, boilers and cooling towers, steam boilers, etc.
• Temperature monitoring, conducting routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting the results.
• Planned preventive maintenance on all dosing equipment as and when required.
• Liaise with the company’s portfolio of clients on a regular basis.
