Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Process Coordinator to join our Moray team in Elgin. You will manage and monitor the biological and physical water treatment on site, ensuring compliance with Veolia and Health & Safety policies.

This 18-month fixed-term contract includes a salary of £37,000 per year, 42 hours per week, and access to Veolia benefits. Applicants with laboratory experience and a full driving licence are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Laboratory experience is essential.
• Excellent computer literacy and communication skills.
• Full clean driving licence is essential.
• Degree or HND in a scientific discipline is desirable.
• Experience in energy facility, water treatment or process sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor the performance of on-site biological and physical water treatment.
• Comply with Veolia and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Sample and analyse influent and effluent streams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of lab procedures and standards.
• Manage chemicals on site.
• Report treatment performance to stakeholders.
• Calibrate laboratory and field instruments.
• Occasionally be contactable outside normal hours.
