Veolia is hiring an Operative at our Hatton and Bioresources sites in Scotland. Reporting to the Unit Controller, you will help run Seghers dryer BFPs, GBTs centrifuges, and related processes, ensuring work is completed on time, to cost and to quality standards.
The role involves SCADA checks, laboratory sampling, routine plant and network checks, first-line maintenance and problem solving, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. Training leads to progression within Veolia.
£29,831.33 rising to £36,474.96 on completion of training, plus bonus and Veolia benefits
40 hours per week - 7.30 - 16.30 Mon - Thu, 7.30 - 14.00 Fri with half an hour unpaid lunch and standby rota

To report to the Unit Controller/Deputy Unit Controller with responsibility for the operational control of the Process Units within the Tay contract and associated sites, so as to meet all operating targets as defined in the operating contract. To perform a range of assigned activities, responsibilities including the running of a Seghers dryer BFPs, GBTs Centrifuges and all processes required to run a STC building. SCADA checks laboratory sampling, testing, routine plant and network checks, first line maintenance and problem solving to ensure that services are delivered to time, cost and quality standards. To ensure all statutory Quality and Safety policies and regulations are satisfied, and that all company policies are implemented and maintained.
