Our client is a prominent and expanding water treatment company located in the South East and currently seeking a Water Treatment/Pre‑Commissioning Engineer based in the South East (Essex & surrounding areas). Majority of the work will entail Pre‑commissioning with the rest in water treatment.

Ideally, the applicant must have significant and varied experience in Pre‑Commissioning, a strong chemical and water treatment background, excellent communication skills (written & verbal), strong client‑facing and organisational skills, hands‑on experience as a Water Treatment Engineer, and a proven track record working within this role and the water treatment industry.

Purpose of the Role

Covering a mixed bag of contracts within the areas designated by the client.

Key Responsibilities

• Predominantly carrying out pre‑commissioning cleaning on the systems according to BSRIA standards.
• Ensuring flow rates.
• Completing flushing works.
• Carrying out dosing – CHW and LTHW systems and washing systems.
• Chemical and tank cleans.
• Carrying out chlorination and disinfection works in accordance with ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Schematic drawings and producing accurate reports.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with ACOP (8) guidelines.
