Job summary

Severn Trent Plc is seeking a Non Infra Team Manager to lead a skilled operational team in the Derbyshire area, including Little Eaton works. The role focuses on safe, compliant operation of a critical water treatment site and involves some travel and out-of-hours standby.

You will be responsible for performance, regulatory compliance, and delivering efficiency improvements, with support and development opportunities in a forward‑looking utility environment.

Qualifications

• Direct experience in managing and inspiring teams in an operational environment.
• Knowledge of water treatment and regulatory requirements is desirable.
• Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Ensure treatment assets are operated and maintained safely and efficiently.
• Accountable for performance and resilience of Little Eaton Water Treatment Works.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Lead the team to deliver high performance and safety improvements.
• Identify investment opportunities focused on safety, resilience and efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement through problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Manage budgets and deliver efficiency savings aligned with objectives.
• Engage with regulators and supply chain partners.
• Maintain emergency planning and incident response arrangements.
