Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join their team in Luton. You will work on both commercial and public sector sites, carrying out water hygiene duties to ensure compliance with current legislation and industry standards.

The role involves temperature monitoring, system flushing, water sampling, and maintenance of TMVs, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance. A company vehicle and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a water hygiene/ treatment position.
• Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling.
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works.
• Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Completing showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks.
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines.

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role

A well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join its growing team.

You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.
