Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer in Luton to deliver water hygiene services across commercial and public sector sites. You will perform temperature monitoring, flushing, sampling and maintain TMVs, ensuring all work complies with current legislation and industry standards.

The role requires at least 3 years in water hygiene, relevant qualifications, and a full UK driving licence. You will join a growing team with company vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a water hygiene/ treatment position.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training.

Responsibilities

• Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites.
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling.
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works.
• Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers.
• Completing showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks, ensuring compliance with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines.

Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Luton

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role

A well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join its growing team.

You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.
