Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join its team in Luton. You will work across commercial and public sites, performing planned and reactive water hygiene tasks to keep systems compliant with current legislation and standards.

Role involves temperature monitoring, sampling, TMV servicing, and tank/calorifier maintenance, with a company vehicle provided and a progressive holiday scheme. A driver licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience within a water hygiene/ treatment position.
• Relevant water hygiene qualifications or training.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering water hygiene services across a variety of client sites
• Carrying out temperature monitoring, system flushing, and water sampling
• Servicing and maintaining TMVs, including minor remedial works
• Inspecting, cleaning, and disinfecting cold water storage tanks and calorifiers
• Completing showerhead descaling and disinfection tasks
• Ensuring all works are completed in line with ACoP L8, HSG274, HTM 04-01, and WRAS guidelines

Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum

About the Role

A well-established water hygiene and treatment company is seeking an experienced Water Treatment Engineer to join its growing team.

You will work across a range of commercial and public sector sites, carrying out both planned and reactive water hygiene duties to ensure client systems remain fully compliant with current legislation and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
