Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Treatment Engineer for a Midlands-based role. You will attend commercial, public sector and industrial sites to perform cooling tower cleans, disinfection work, water sampling and routine monitoring. A reliable, technically knowledgeable candidate is required.

The position offers overtime and a company vehicle, with opportunities for training and benefits. Travel to various sites across the Midlands will be required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer or similar role.
• Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.
• Experience working across a diverse portfolio of sites.
• Flexible to travel in line with client needs.

Responsibilities

• Cooling tower cleans and disinfections.
• TMV servicing, maintenance and failsafe checks.
• CWST inspections, cleans and disinfections.
• Showerhead disinfections.
• Calorifier inspections.
• Water sampling.
• Temperature monitoring.
• Producing regular service reports.
• Maintaining high standards of service.

Water Treatment Engineer

Location: Tamworth, West Midlands

Salary/Benefits: £27k - £36k + Training & Benefits

Our client is a well-known name within the Water Treatment / Hygiene industry, with a presence across the UK. Due to continued company growth, they are seeking a reliable and driven Water Treatment Engineer to join their Midlands team. You will be attending a range of commercial, public sector and industrial sites to conduct cleans and disinfection duties, in addition to routine pre-planned monitoring/sampling.

The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and can demonstrate robust technical knowledge.
