Job summary

Affinity Water is recruiting a Production Control Technician to join our Control Operations team on a 12 month fixed-term contract. The role covers a 12-hour night-day shift pattern within a 24/7/365 operations room, supporting the Duty Control Manager to keep water moving from production source to customers.

You will respond to alarms, interpret network data, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage incidents and ensure service commitments.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating within a 24/7 control environment.
• Ability to interpret hydraulic data and network behaviour from graphical data.
• Proven ability to prioritise workload and respond to alarms promptly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Duty Control Manager to ensure supply to customers and optimise assets.
• Review production and security alarm traffic and respond per guidelines.
• Investigate issues, assess risk, and record decisions on company systems.
• Maintain communication with internal/external customers during incidents.
