Job summary

Mitie in the United Kingdom is seeking a Mobile Water Technician to cover Liverpool and the North West area. You will perform Legionella maintenance PPMs, sampling and basic plumbing to ensure compliant, safe water systems.

The role involves monitoring tasks under the Approved Code of Practice L8, keeping water log books up to date, and carrying out cleanings and disinfections per procedures. A collaborative team environment offers development and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment.
• Limited or no direct experience considered if candidate has relevant experience in similar fields.
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Completion of routine monitoring tasks in line with the Approved Code of Practice L8.
• Maintain our customer's water log books and complete the necessary documentation in accordance with current guidelines and company policy.
• Carry out water system clean and disinfections in accordance with the Approved Code of Practice L8 and company procedures.
• Testing, servicing and maintaining of thermostatic mixing valves and basic plumbing works where required.

What we're looking for:

• Someone with previous experience within Compliance Servicing, Legionella Monitoring or Water Treatment
• We welcome applicants with limited or no direct experience, provided they have relevant experience in similar fields
• Advanced knowledge and experience of maintaining water systems is desirable
