Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Scheduler in Bourne End to ensure engineers are where they need to be, when they need to be there, through hybrid work arrangements.

You will handle customer communication, service allocation, and planning, while identifying new contract opportunities and maintaining service quality across our water technology operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in scheduling or service coordination.
• Ability to allocate engineers based on knowledge and availability.
• Strong communication with customers and engineers.
• Planning and forward scheduling to maximise utilisation.
• Ability to confirm bookings and coordinate with relevant parties.
• Escalate issues affecting contract commitments.
• Identify opportunities for new contracts and upsell.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer calls and allocate engineers to attend site.
• Apply technical procedures to ensure engineers attend with required skills and parts.
• Forward plan contract visits and resolve conflicts to optimise utilisation.
• Confirm bookings with customers and engineers, providing all necessary details.
• Escalate delays or gaps affecting contract commitments.
• Identify and promote new contracts, parts, or services during interactions.
• Maintain flexible approach to meet customer and operational needs.
