Job summary

Arup is seeking an undergraduate to join our dynamic team, offering exposure to water sector policy, regulation and investment planning. From day one, you’ll work with leading practitioners across strategy, regulation, resilience and asset management, developing practical solutions for clients and communities.

You will be supported through formal training opportunities and potential involvement in thought leadership and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Currently studying toward a Bachelor's or Master's in a water-related discipline.
• Course accredited by ICE, CIWEM or equivalent.
• Interest in the water sector with focus on regulation and long-term investment.
• Motivation to address climate resilience and sustainability challenges.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and data interpretation.
• Ability to balance technical, environmental, social, economic and regulatory factors.
• Excellent communication skills in small project teams.
• Curiosity, initiative and organized delivery.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across policy, strategy, economics, engineering and asset management to help clients.
• Work across water sector projects, influencing policy, regulation and investment planning.
• Support thought leadership, business development and client engagement.
• Collaborate with Arup's global network to generate advice for city and infrastructure clients.
