Job summary

Anglian Water is seeking a Water Smart Development Programme Lead in Huntingdon, offering hybrid working. The role focuses on leading BWSP delivery within the Environmental Outcomes / Sustainability team, turning strategy into actionable programmes across IW Management and investment planning.

The successful candidate will coordinate governance, manage partnerships with regulators and authorities, and develop integrated water-smart solutions to support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven programme or project management experience, including delivery planning, governance, budget management, risk management and performance reporting.
• Experience translating strategic objectives into practical plans and driving delivery across complex programmes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to tailor updates for senior audiences and facilitate workshops.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme management and delivery of Building Water Smart Places (BWSP) and related water-smart initiatives.
• Turn strategy into action by translating Integrated Water Management ambitions into roadmaps and delivery plans.
• Influence future investment by embedding IW Management into planning and investment decisions.
• Coordinate governance boards, steering groups, and Communities of Practice to keep partners aligned.
