Job summary

Anglian Water Services is seeking a Water Smart Development Programme Lead in Huntingdon, offering hybrid working and a circa £55,000 annual salary dependent on skills and experience. This permanent, full-time role (37 hours) may allow part-time/flexible working by interview discussion, with a focus on delivering Integrated Water Management and water-smart growth initiatives.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead programme management and delivery across BWSP and related water-smart initiatives with governance, controls, benefits management and reporting.
• Turn strategy into action by creating roadmaps and delivery plans for Integrated Water Management.
• Influence future investment with WRMP, DWMP and asset management teams to embed IW Management in planning.
• Develop integrated solutions combining water efficiency, reuse, sustainable drainage and nature-based objectives.
• Build partnerships with government, regulators, local authorities, developers, industry bodies, academia and training providers.
• Develop funding bids, business cases and partnerships to grow programmes and impact.
• Capture and share learning from demonstrator projects for replication and scale.
• Coordinate governance boards, steering groups, workshops and Communities of Practice.
