Job summary

C&P Recruitment is seeking a Site Engineer (Water) in Inverness to provide technical setting out, QA, and on-site coordination for water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The role requires strong surveying skills, exposure to site supervision, and compliance with RAMS and safety protocols. A CSCS card, UK Driving Licence, and CAD proficiency are essential, with EUSR/DOMS desirable.

Qualifications

• BEng, BSc, HND, or HNC in Civil Engineering or related construction discipline.
• Proven proficiency in setting out with robotic total stations and GNSS/GPS.
• Experience of 2-3+ years on site in civil engineering; deep drainage or water infra is a plus.
• Valid CSCS Card (White/Gold/Blue) and Full UK Driving Licence mandatory.
• EUSR National Water Hygiene Card or DOMS accreditation desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication with site agents and teams.

Responsibilities

• Setting Out & Surveying: Establish precise site control and execute accurate setting out for water infrastructure.
• Quality Assurance: Maintain QA records and 'As-Built' docs.
• Technical Interpretation: Review drawings, identify design clashes, raise RFIs.
• Site Supervision & Safety: Assist Site Agent, ensure RAMS and environmental protocols.
• Material & Plant Management: Take material take-offs and coordinate orders.
