Job summary

Randstad Construction & Property is seeking an experienced Site Agent for water infrastructure projects Scotland-wide. The role is office-based in Inverness with travel to multiple sites across Scotland. Competitive salary up to £55,000 plus a £6k car allowance and lodge/travel allowances.

The successful candidate will lead site delivery on civils infrastructure, water mains renewal and wastewater schemes, ensuring budget control, RAMS/ITPs, CDM compliance, and effective subcontractor management.

Qualifications

• HNC/HND or Degree/NVQ equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Card (Manager/Professional).
• Proven track record running site delivery on water/wastewater, pipelines, or general civils infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of RAMS, ITPs, 3-week lookahead programming, subbie management, and CDM compliance.
• Experience managing project budgets, daily site allocations, variations, and procurement of plant and materials.
• Willingness to work site-based roles with travel across Scotland (lodging provided).
