Job summary

Stantec is looking to recruit a Principal Civil Engineer into the Water Team in Scotland. You will lead projects from concept through delivery, focusing on wastewater infrastructure, water storage, and sustainable drainage while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with ADPs and client teams.

You will hold a Civil Engineering degree and pursue Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM, with a passion for delivering sustainable water solutions in a fast-paced, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering and working toward Chartered status with ICE or CIWEM.
• Experience delivering wastewater infrastructure projects including sewer flooding and pollution solutions.
• Proven ability to lead client engagement and collaborate with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across wastewater infrastructure and related water sector works throughout the lifecycle.
• Mentor and develop more junior engineers within the team.
• Deliver innovative, sustainable design solutions in line with Scottish Water targets and the AMP cycle.
