Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Water Sector Lead to shape growth strategy for Environment & Energy Europe, with a focus on the UK and Ireland. You will drive client engagement, bid leadership, and cross-team collaboration to win strategic opportunities and deliver YoY growth.

You will represent AECOM at industry events, build high-value relationships with clients and stakeholders, and lead initiatives across multiple disciplines to deliver sustainable water solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven success in leading business development and growth within the Water sector in a consultancy or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of Water sector dynamics, clients, and competitors.
• Ability to build and maintain senior-level client relationships and translate vision into action plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Water sector within Environment & Energy Europe, focusing on UK/Ireland in 2027.
• Build strategic client relationships and ensure the sector is positioned as a partner of choice.
• Lead the development and implementation of a growth plan and client engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with CAMs and other teams to identify, position and convert opportunities for YoY growth.
• Drive bid leadership and win strategies to optimize resources and opportunities.
• Ensure sector KPIs, bookings, and revenue targets are met with quarterly performance updates.
