Job summary

AECOM seeks a Water Sector Lead to act as the primary ambassador for Water within Environment & Energy Europe. You will shape growth strategy, build strategic client relationships, and position Environment & Energy as a partner of choice in the market.

Reporting to EUR&I Strategy & Growth Director, you’ll be part of the Sales Senior Leadership Team, driving sector growth across Europe with a UK/Ireland focus in 2027.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success in leading business development and growth within the Water sector in a consultancy or professional services environment.
• Strong knowledge of the Water sector dynamics, clients, emerging areas and key competitors.
• Proven ability to build and maintain high-value client relationships at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the sector, setting clear priorities and aligning activities to Environment & Energy Europe objectives with a focus on UK and Ireland in 2027.
• Maintain deep knowledge of market drivers, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities; anticipate future needs.
