Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Water Resources Consultant in the UK to support delivery of water resources, water environment and infrastructure projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary Climate Adaptation team, developing skills in hydrology, water balance assessment and climate resilience.

You will analyse datasets, contribute to technical reports, and support bid material and client communications while collaborating across flood risk, planning and infrastructure disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Understanding of water resources, hydrology and environmental assessment concepts.
• Experience with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to interpret GIS outputs and spatial data.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of water resources and hydrology projects.
• Prepare water balance assessments and technical reports.
• Analyze hydrological, meteorological and water demand datasets.
• Contribute to Water Cycle Studies and environmental assessments.
• Assist with WINEP investigations and AMP planning.
• Develop nature-based water management strategies.
