Job summary

Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering and consultancy, is seeking a Senior Water Management Consultant with a primary focus on water resources to join our Climate Adaptation team in the UK. You will lead defined technical work packages and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on water resource assessments and water cycle studies.

Qualifications

Degree in Water Resources, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geography or related field.
Proven experience delivering UK water resource and water environment projects.
Strong understanding of water resource assessment methods and water balances.
Experience leading technical tasks and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and ability to explain complex data to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership on water resource and integrated water management projects.
Lead abstraction licence applications, water environment permitting and regulatory submissions.
Deliver Water Cycle Studies and Water Resource Management Plans.
Mentor junior team members and support business development.
Ensure QA on reports, calculations and final deliverables.
