Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Water Management Consultant with a primary focus on water resources to join our Climate Adaptation team in the UK. You will lead defined technical work packages, deliver water resource assessments, water balance studies and contribute to Water Cycle Studies and Water Resource Management Plans.

You will mentor junior colleagues and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative, sustainable solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Water Resources, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geography or related field.
• Experience delivering UK water resource and water environment projects.
• Strong knowledge of water resource assessment methods and water balances.
• Experience leading technical tasks within a project team.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical information clearly.
• Experience with GIS outputs and spatial data in reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on water resource and integrated water management projects.
• Undertake water resource assessments, water balance studies and availability investigations.
• Lead abstraction licence applications and water environment permitting work.
• Support Water Cycle Studies and Water Resource Management Plans.
• Mentor junior staff and review reports for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders.
