Job summary
Arcadis UK is seeking a developing Water Resources Consultant to contribute to water resources, water environment and infrastructure projects within our Climate Adaptation team. You will work on studies for water companies, regulators and developers, building your skills in water resources, hydrology and sustainable water management.
You will analyse datasets, prepare technical reports, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while developing your capability through mentoring and on-the-job
Qualifications
- Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Understanding of water resources, hydrology and environmental assessment.
- Experience with Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to interpret GIS outputs and spatial data.
- Strong numerical and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Support delivery of water resources and hydrology projects.
- Prepare water balance assessments and technical reports.
- Analyse hydrological data to support planning.
- Contribute to Water Cycle Studies and environmental assessments.
- Support WINEP investigations and AMP planning.
- Develop relationships with clients and stakeholders.
