Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Water Management Consultant focused on water resources to join our Climate Adaptation team. You will lead defined technical work packages, such as abstraction licences, water environment permitting and water resource assessments while supporting multidisciplinary commissions.

You will mentor junior colleagues, contribute to Water Cycle Studies and Water Resource Management Plans, and help shape innovative, nature-based solutions across projects

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience delivering UK water resource and water environment projects.
• Understanding of water resource assessment methodologies and water balances.
• Experience leading technical tasks with project support.
• Strong report writing and communication of complex information.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on water resource and integrated water management projects.
• Lead abstraction licence applications and water environment permitting tasks.
• Support Water Cycle Studies and Water Resource Management Plans.
