Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of water and wastewater projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will work closely with Project Managers, Commercial Directors, Quantity Surveyors and clients to manage costs, risk and contractual obligations across major UK water projects.

The role offers significant scope for developing the commercial function of a new team within STRABAG UK, with exposure to senior leadership and key stakeholder

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and standard forms of contract.
• Commercial acumen with experience in construction projects.
• Understanding of project controls and cost management.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of the portfolio of water/wastewater projects from preconstruction to completion.
• Lead contractual governance, cost control, risk and change management.
• Collaborate with project teams, procurement, and clients to maximise cash flow and margin.

Education

MRICS Chartered Quantity Surveyor or equivalent

Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related
