Job summary

Arup in Cardiff is seeking a Process Engineer to join the Water team and contribute to projects that enhance water quality and sustainability. You will work across the project lifecycle with civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental colleagues to deliver practical, low-carbon solutions.

The role covers root cause investigations, feasibility studies, optioneering, detailed design and commissioning support for municipal and industrial water projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in water and/or wastewater process engineering.
• Understanding of water treatment processes and the UK water sector.
• Working towards chartership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process design for municipal and industrial water projects.
• Lead root cause investigations, feasibility studies and optioneering.
• Develop mass balances and P&IDs, and support detailed design.
• Coordinate commissioning activities and field support with multidisciplinary teams.
