Job summary

Arup seeks a senior process engineer with a background in process design on municipal and industrial water projects. The role involves leading process engineering teams across the project life cycle, from concept to detailed design, and developing mass/energy balances and commissioning plans.

You will coordinate engineers from different disciplines, work in highly regulated sectors, and contribute to feasibility studies and energy/capital cost planning.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in chemical engineering or similar.
• Experience leading process engineering teams to deliver within timelines and budgets.
• Experience acting as process designer in HAZOP teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work across disciplines and lead process design on municipal and industrial water projects.
• Develop mass and energy balances, process data sheets, control philosophies, and commissioning plans.
• Prepare fee proposals and feasibility studies for plant operating and capital costs.
• Ensure designs are implementable with current analysis and design software.
