Senior Process Engineer – Water Design & Optioneering

Job summary

ARCADIS is looking for experienced Principal/Senior Process Engineers to join our UK Resilience Water team in Bristol. In this role, you will create and deliver designs for large-scale projects with UK Water Companies while collaborating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualification.
• Chartered membership of an appropriate professional body (IChemE or CIWEM).
• Strong technical design experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Understanding of applicable British Standards and UK Industry Codes of Practice.

Responsibilities

• Liaison with clients to understand their specific requirements.
• Preparation of outline and detailed design drawings.
• Mentoring and supporting development of less experienced staff.

Skills

Strong technical design experience

Good working knowledge of Water Industry

Motivation, influencing and people management skills

Knowledge of BIM-led design

Education

Degree in Chemical Engineering or suitable alternative qualification

Chartered membership of IChemE or CIWEM
