Job summary

Affinity Water is seeking a Network Operative to join our East region teamwork. You'll carry out essential maintenance and repairs to the water network, ensuring safe operations and keeping customers informed of any works affecting them.

You'll participate in a 1 in 5 standby rota, work in a two-person team, and benefit from in-house training, a company van, and a comprehensive benefits package including enhanced maternity/paternity leave, pension, and wellbeing resources.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laying mains and service pipes is essential.
• Completed NRSWA Operative training.
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Laying Mains and Services, alongside a current Street Works qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out essential maintenance and repairs to the water network, ensuring safe operations and compliance with regulations.
• Participate in a standby rota (1 in 5) to provide on-call support.
• Keep customers informed of works that affect them and maintain high service standards.
