Job summary

YTL UK is seeking a dedicated R&M Team Leader to oversee repair and maintenance work across the water supply network from our Yeovil Taunton base. You will lead a two-person crew, travel daily to sites, and ensure safe, cost-conscious execution of tasks.

You will tackle bursts and planned maintenance, mentor colleagues, and help develop your leadership skills within a supportive utilities group. The role is site-based with flexibility to work from Yeovil or Taunton.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid UK driving licence and the ability to tow a trailer over 750kg.
• Proven experience in water network repair and maintenance activities.
• Experience working on large-diameter water mains.
• Current Streetworks qualification.
• Groundworks licence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the delivery of essential repair and maintenance work across the water supply network.
• Tackle emergency burst mains repairs and planned maintenance to high standards and within anticipated costs.
• Work as part of a two-person team, leading by example and maintaining critical water services.
