YTL UK is seeking a dedicated R&M Team Leader to oversee repair and maintenance work across the water supply network from our Yeovil Taunton base. You will lead a two-person crew, travel daily to sites, and ensure safe, cost-conscious execution of tasks.

You will tackle bursts and planned maintenance, mentor colleagues, and help develop your leadership skills within a supportive utilities group. The role is site-based with flexibility to work from Yeovil or Taunton.

Qualifikationen

• Must have a valid UK driving licence and the ability to tow a trailer over 750kg.
• Proven experience in water network repair and maintenance activities.
• Experience working on large-diameter water mains.
• Current Streetworks qualification.
• Groundworks licence.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

We're looking for a team leader to join our Water Supply Repair & Maintenance (R&M) team, helping to keep water flowing for customers across our western region.

Basedfromour depot in Yeovil, this is a site-based role whereyou'lltravel daily to a variety of locations, taking on new challenges and making a real difference to the communities we serve.

What you'll do

As an R&M Team Leader within our Network Utilities team,you'lllead and support the delivery of essential repair and maintenance work across our water supply network.

No two days are the same.You'lltackle everything from emergency burst mains repairs to planned maintenance activities, ensuring work is completed safely,to our exceptionallyhigh standards, andwithinanticipatedcosts.

You'llwork as part of a dedicated two-person team, leading by example and helpingmaintaincritical water services for our customers.

The role offers a mix of hands-on work, problem-solving, and leadership, with opportunities to further develop your skills and progress your career.

This role can be based out of our Yeovil depot or Taunton.

What you'll need

We'relooking for someone with:

• a valid UK driving licence and the ability to tow a trailer over 750kg
• proven experience in water network repair and maintenance activities
• experience working on large-diameter water mains
• a current Streetworks qualification
• a Groundworks licence
• a strong commitment to health, safety and quality standards.

Please note that participation in planned out-of-hours work will berequiredwhen necessary.
