Job summary

CHG Electrical is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to join its MEICA delivery team, installing, calibrating and maintaining instrumentation across clean water and wastewater assets in Yorkshire.

You will work with flow meters, level sensors, pressure transmitters, turbidity and chlorine analysers, performing loop checks and supporting PLC/SCADA interfaces, collaborating with EICA engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Proven instrumentation experience within water or wastewater environments.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Instrumentation/Controls or related discipline.
• Strong understanding of water treatment processes and telemetry systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, calibrate and maintain instrumentation across clean water and wastewater assets.
• Diagnose faults and support PLC/SCADA interface checks and control-system integration.
• Ensure RAMS, design specs and WIMES compliance; maintain calibration records and site reports.
