Job summary

Colloide seeks an Electrical & ICA Technician to install, test, commission and fault-find electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems across a range of projects. Based in Northern Ireland with travel throughout the UK, the role supports MEICA delivery in water and wastewater sectors.

You will work independently and in teams, read drawings, calibrate instrumentation, and ensure safety, quality and on-site documentation with SATs/FATs and commissioning tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, instrumentation, control and automation systems.
• MEICA system experience preferred.
• Willing to travel across the UK.
• Proven fault-finding skills on electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission electrical, instrumentation, control and automation installations.
• Support commissioning and test documentation for projects.
• Carry out fault-finding and rectification of MEICA systems.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
• Plan and manage own work schedules and travel throughout the UK.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to optimise process performance.
• Maintain safety and quality standards on site.
