Job summary

Pertemps Network Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in the Lichfield area. The role is home-based with travel to customer sites to service and maintain wastewater monitoring instrumentation.

You will work across urban treatment facilities and rural sites, with outdoor work year-round. The position requires 2+ years in electromechanical fault finding, a practical approach to diagnosing faults, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in electromechanical fault finding.
• Practical approach to diagnosing faults and solving technical problems.
• Ability to work independently across different sites.
• Willingness to work outdoors throughout the year.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs.
• Diagnosing and resolving electromechanical faults.
• Servicing, calibrating and verifying monitoring instrumentation.
• Maintaining accurate daily service reports.
• Managing vehicle stock and keeping equipment organised.
• Following site health and safety procedures.
