Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer for industrial water treatment. You’ll travel to customer sites from Swindon/Oxford/M4-A34 corridor to service, fault-find and commission water treatment equipment while working from home-based, field-based setups.

Ideal candidates have strong electromechanical skills, a recognised engineering qualification or time-served experience, and the ability to work independently with customers. A UK driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong electromechanical engineering background required.
• Engineering qualification or time-served experience essential.
• Hands-on experience maintaining and fault finding industrial equipment.
• Good knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, pipework, controls or process plant.
• Ability to diagnose problems independently and communicate with customers.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintenance, fault finding and commissioning of industrial water treatment equipment.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on industrial plant and equipment.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
• Document work with accurate service reports and notes.
