Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting an experienced Site Agent / Site Manager to support a water infrastructure project in Royal Tunbridge Wells. The role focuses on day‑to‑day site delivery, coordinating delivery teams and ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have UK water/utilities sector experience, strong leadership, and a proven ability to manage ITPs, TQs and project documentation while liaising with design teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Previous Site Agent/Site Manager experience within UK water/utilities sector.
• Strong site management and delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating with design teams.
• Experience managing ITPs, TQs and project documentation.
• Experience managing subcontractors and site teams.
• Good understanding of civil engineering and water infrastructure works.
• SMSTS, CSCS Card; EUSR Water Hygiene / Clean Water Card.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of site activities.
• Coordinate Supervisors, site teams and subcontractors.
• Liaise with Design Team to resolve technical queries.
• Raise and manage Technical Queries (TQs).
• Maintain ITPs and quality documentation.
• Review drawings and construction information.
• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and site resources.
• Monitor progress against programme and address delays.
• Review RAMS and safe systems of work.
• Maintain accurate site records and project documentation.
• Support short‑term planning and programme management.
• Ensure works meet Health, Safety, Environmental and quality requirements.
