Job summary

Enable Resourcing Limited is partner to a leading civil engineering and utilities contractor recruiting an experienced Site Agent for water treatment projects in the UK. You will take ownership from inception through delivery, leading site teams and liaising with Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Site Agent within water, utilities or civil engineering sectors.
• 6–12 months sewage/water treatment project experience.
• Practical working knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Experience managing civil engineering, utilities or non-infrastructure construction projects.
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and construction health & safety requirements.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and site resources.
• Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid SMSTS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of civil engineering and water infrastructure projects.
• Lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Monitor programme performance and drive project delivery.
• Manage resources, labour and plant requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate project risks.
• Support commercial performance and cost control.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with NEC contract requirements.
