Job summary

Carrington West is recruiting for an experienced Site Agent to support a major trunk mains programme in London. You will manage trunk mains and civil works, coordinating site teams, subcontractors and resources to meet programme and quality targets.

The role requires strong site management and health & safety expertise, including RAMS, permits and safe systems of work, with a focus on delivery, reporting and risk control on a high-profile water infrastructure project.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Site Agent in UK water or utilities
• Strong background with water mains or trunk mains projects
• Knowledge of excavation, pipe installation and civils
• Experience managing supervisors, teams and subcontractors
• Strong programme and site management experience
• Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental requirements

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day delivery of trunk mains and civil works
• Coordinate supervisors, site teams, operatives and subcontractors
• Plan and coordinate labour, plant, materials and resources
• Oversee excavation, pipework, reinstatement and civils
• Ensure RAMS, permits and safe systems of work are in place
• Manage site documentation, records and daily reporting
• Maintain Health, Safety and Environmental standards
• Monitor quality and workmanship on site
• Support Temporary Works requirements
• Oversee short-term planning and programme delivery
