Job summary

Browne Group is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day-to-day construction activities on water infrastructure projects. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and resources, ensuring safety, quality and programme delivery while working with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and stakeholders.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong operational management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with a commitment to fostering a positive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Site Manager in construction/water sectors.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation including CDM.
• Experience managing subcontractors, site teams and programmes.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to resolve site issues while maintaining programme delivery and quality.
• SMSTS, Manager/Supervisor CSCS Card, First Aid at Work, and full UK driving licence.
• Qualification in construction or civil engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction activities across water infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and resources.
• Ensure works are delivered safely and to high quality standards.
• Monitor progress, manage risks and ensure on-time delivery within budget.
