Sweco UK is seeking a motivated Process Engineer to contribute to the development and delivery of process designs for water and water recycling projects on AMP8. You will support senior engineers, producing design outputs that meet required standards and project objectives.

You will work with multidisciplinary teams to review designs, apply health and environmental standards, and support continuous improvement through digital tools. A pathway to chartership is available.

Formación

• Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent).
• Some experience in the water sector or related process-driven industry.
• Understanding of process design principles, standards and environmental considerations.
• Experience producing or contributing to technical design deliverables.
• Interest in progressing towards chartership (support provided).
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental requirements in projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with a collaborative approach.
• Genuine interest in sustainability and environmentally responsible engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Support the delivery of process design activities meeting safety, technical, and quality requirements.
• Prepare and contribute to design deliverables (mass balances, hydraulic calculations, P&IDs, process flow diagrams).
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support design reviews and incorporate feedback.
• Assist with design development tasks and resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure designs comply with health, safety and environmental standards (DSEAR).
• Contribute to continuous improvement using innovative design approaches and digital tools.
• Engage with stakeholders and suppliers as required to progress design work.
• Promote sustainable design practices across project delivery.
