Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Lead Civil Design Manager to shape water infrastructure projects from feasibility through to construction, operation and asset management. You will lead multidisciplinary teams and drive the technical delivery across the design lifecycle for water and wastewater schemes.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent in civil, electrical, mechanical.
• Chartered or Incorporated with ICE, CIWEM, or working towards.
• Experience delivering water/wastewater projects for water companies or consultants.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery of water, wastewater and flood projects across the design lifecycle.
• Oversee key work packages from concept to handover with clients and suppliers.
• Collaborate with clients and partners to gain stakeholder buy‑in and drive innovation.
• Develop and mentor junior team members and manage their contributions.
