Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Chartered Civil/Water engineer to lead the design of major water supply infrastructure across multiple UK offices. You will coordinate design teams and deliver projects within budget and programme, contributing to innovative wastewater solutions.

The role offers opportunities to work with government and private clients across the UK, travel to offices/sites, and play a key part in technical excellence, safety, and bid/tender activities.

Qualifications

• Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution.
• Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects and develop junior staff.
• Experience in leading design teams and coordinating with multi-disciplinary groups.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the delivery of project(s), coordinating project team(s) to ensure excellent technical delivery within budget and programme.
• Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports, proactively managing design risk to deliver constructable solutions.
• Represent the company in meetings, building strong relationships with our clients that will enhance our reputation and help secure further work.
• Deliver projects in close partnership with clients and contractors.
• Contribute to technical excellence and commercial success through forecasting and risk management, and the production of bids and proposals.
• Work to Mott MacDonald's global standards and review Health, Safety and Welfare alongside environmental impact.
