Job Title: Water Hygiene Remedial Engineer
Location: Dartford, Kent
Salary / Benefits: 25k – 37k DOE + Company Vehicle

Professional Southern Water Hygiene / Treatment Company are currently looking to recruit an experienced Remedial Engineer to cover contracts across the London / M25 region. The successful candidate will be traveling to client sites following legionella risk assessments, to undertake any remedial work needed to ensure customer compliance. Applicants will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of hot and cold water systems and legionella control and at a minimum will hold a Level 2 plumbing qualification.

Consideration will be given to candidates based; Dartford, Erith, Gravesend, Rochester, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Orpington, Swanley, Bromley, Croydon, South London, Grays, Rainham, Basildon, Stanford-le-Hope, Romford, Hornchurch and the surrounding areas.

Experience / Qualification:

• City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Plumbing Qualification.
• Experience undertaking remedial plumbing tasks to commercial and domestic sites.
• Current / previous experience within the water hygiene / legionella industry.
• Strong working knowledge of L8 and HSG (Parts 1,2,3) guidelines.

Successful candidates will be undertaking a range of legionella control and remedial services including:

• Temperature monitoring & sampling.
• Mains Disinfections works
• Hot and Cold water system clean and disinfections.
• Dead leg removal.
• TMV (Thermostatic Mixing Valves) servicing, repairs and installations.
• Cold Water Storage Tank repair and replacements.
• Water Heater repair and replacement.
• Water heater inspections and acid descales.
• Installation of expansion vessels.
• Installing and replacing Ball Valves.
• Insulation of Pipework, CWST and Water heaters.
• RPZ valve servicing and replacement.
• WASP valve servicing and replacement.
• Installation and maintenance of chemical dosing units.
