Job summary

Future Select Recruitment is seeking a Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across the Midlands, based from Nottingham. You will perform ACOP L8 compliance tasks including showerhead descales, TMV servicing, and tank inspections across multiple client sites.

The role requires travel and dedication to detailed service reporting. The ideal candidate will have proven Water Hygiene experience, strong knowledge of HSG 274 and ACOP L8, and the ability to work both independently and within teams, with

• Proven track record as Water Hygiene Engineer.
• Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines.
• Able to work independently and in teams on projects.
• Confident in completing regular service reports.
• Good literacy, numeracy and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ACOP L8 compliance tasks on client sites.
• Showerhead descales and TMV servicing.
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks.
• Basic flushing on rarely used outlets and calorifier inspections.
• Water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Prepare and update detailed service reports and site logbooks.

Our client is a leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella compliance industry. They are renowned across the UK for their high service standards and growing client portfolio. They are seeking a hardworking and knowledgeable Water Hygiene Engineer to cover sites across the Midlands region. You will be performing a wide range of ACOP L8 compliance tasks, including: showerhead descales, tank cleans and TMV servicing. Ideally, you will have good access to major travel routes for easier travel across the region. Our client is offering competitive basic salaries and competitive benefits packages.

Experience / Qualifications:

• Proven track record working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit
• Fully conversant in HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines
• Experience working independently and within teams on projects

• Flexible to travel as per company needs

The Role:

• Conducting a range of ACOP L8 compliance duties on various client sites
• Showerhead descales
• TMV servicing and failsafe checks
• Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks
• Basic flushing on little used outlets
• Calorifier inspections
• Water sampling
• Temperature monitoring
• Completing detailed service reports and updating site logbooks
