Responsibilities

• Undertake water sampling and temperature monitoring.
• Perform TMV servicing and replacements.
• Clean showerheads and carry out descales.
• Complete pre-planned remedial tasks from risk assessments.
• Service hot water cylinders.
• Conduct CWST cleans, disinfections, and refurbishments.
• Modify PVC/Copper pipework.
• Perform deadleg removals.
• Use PDA/Tablet systems for reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.

Level of Experience: Trainee Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber through to Lead Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber

Profile: Future select specialise within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry and currently have a reputable, and well-established Water Hygiene / Legionella company who are keen to recruit a hardworking and qualified Water Hygiene Engineer / Plumber based in and around the Birmingham area. The ideal candidate will hold the City and Guilds (or NVQ ) L2 / L3 qualification in plumbing and will have extensive experience carrying out deadleg removals, hot water cylinder servicing, pre-planned remedial tasks, as well as, water sampling, temperature monitoring, TMV servicing and CWST cleans and chlorination’s.

Applications will be considered from: Wolverhampton, Coventry, Solihull, Stourbridge, Kidderminster, Worcester, Coventry, Telford, Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Leicester, Loughborough, Derby, Nottingham.

The Role

• ” Undertaking Water Sampling and Temperature monitoring.
• ” TMV Servicing and replacements.
• ” Showerhead descales and cleans.
• ” Undertaking preanned remedial tasks, following on from risk assessments.
• ” Undertaking hot cylinder servicing.
• ” CWST cleans disinfections and refurbishments.,
• ” Modifying of PVC / Copper pipework.
• ” Carrying out deadleg removals.
• ” Using PDA / Tablet systems to produce detailed reports for clients and keeping onsite logbooks up to date.
• ” Ensuring all work is being carried out in line with relevant Health and Safety / ACoP L8 guidelines.
