Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Quantity Surveyor for our Water Framework team based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The role involves commercial and cost management across diverse projects from pre-construction to completion, within a collaborative project delivery environment.

The successful candidate will have a construction-related degree, a full driving licence, and experience in a contractor's commercial role, with familiarity across different contract forms. 45 hours per week with some flexibility.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic qualification in a Construction related degree.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience in a Commercial role for a contractor.
• Experience with a variety of contract forms.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Work with the project delivery team to maintain contractual control and cost management across projects.
• Manage commercial aspects of subcontract accounts from procurement through to interim and final accounts.
• Involved in final account negotiations to secure best outcomes.
• Support projects throughout the full lifecycle from pre-construction to delivery.
• Promote wellbeing and foster an inclusive workplace within the team.
