Job summary

Kier Group in Oxfordshire is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Water Framework team at Horton-Cum-Studley WTW and Thame WTW sites. You will support commercial management during the construction phase and work closely with the wider team.

The role requires a construction degree, a full driving licence, experience in a contractor environment (MEP a plus), and familiarity with various contract forms. You will lead and mentor junior staff and help maximise margin.

Qualifications

• Relevant construction degree required.
• Full driving licence.
• Experience in a commercial role for a contractor.
• Experience with multiple contract forms.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure procurement strategies and manage subcontract inquiries and tender reviews.
• Manage valuations, cashflows, and monthly cost reports.
• Provide legal and contractual advice on orders and changes.
• Drive commercial initiatives and margin improvement plans.
• Lead and support junior staff to meet workload targets.
