Job summary

United Utilities is offering a 12-month internship in our Data Analyst Team at Lingley Mere, Warrington. You will explore real-life data problems, build insights and visuals using Azure DataBricks, and contribute to water-saving strategies.

The role requires a data-driven mindset, strong analytical skills, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks. A numerical degree (2:1 preferred) and good communication are expected.

Qualifications

• Data-driven mindset with SQL or Python knowledge.
• Strong analytical abilities and data-scale experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Preferably a 2:1 degree in a numerical discipline.

Responsibilities

• Drive digital transformation by using data to improve water saving processes.
• Turn large data sets into clear takeaways and actionable insights.
• Create models and visualisations to support strategies and daily operations.
