Job summary

Davies is seeking a skilled Escape of Water Specialist to join our Stoke-on-Trent team. The role places you at the heart of the customer journey as the first point of contact during insurer and client interactions.

The position is permanent full-time with hybrid working after probation, based in Stoke. You will handle claims, coordinate contractors and ensure timely, compliant settlements for our Property team.

Qualifications

• Experience in claims handling preferred.
• Strong communication and empathy when dealing with customers.
• Proficient numeracy and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with customers, insurers, suppliers and colleagues across the country.
• Analyse policies to determine claim coverage and efficient processing.
• Keep policyholders informed on claim progress via clear correspondence.
• Set up new claims, appoint contractors and update systems.
• Issue payments and arrange settlements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
